Abstract

  

This project presents an experimental study of the effect of cutting parameters on the surface roughness and tool wear in end milling of Iconel 718 with coated carbide end mill. Iconel 718 is known to be the most difficult-to-cut materials due to its high temperature strength, low thermal conduuctivity, high corrosion resistance and good creep resistance.
