Mixed convection heat transfer in horizontal duct is a problem fequently encountered inenergy industries and cooling equipment. It is important to understand the characteristic of heat transfer in order to produce a more reliable design that can transfer heat energy efficiently. This study aims to understand how the radiation heat transfer rates of both forced and free convection are found to be affected by the presence of surface radiation.
