The intended purpose of this research is to study, experimentally, the effects of the built up edge on the tool wear and surface roughness of the turning system by utilizing the machine vision system. The experimental investigation was conducted in both dry and wet turning at different machining parameters to determine the formation of built up edge thus it effects on tool wear and surface roughness.
