The offshore container is mainly manufactured for transporting goods from site to site at offshore locations and it is made to withstand long-term, heavy-duty usage in the rigorous locations and hostile tropical marine environment. The cheapest and easiest way to manufacture offshore container is by using welding process. Before an offshore container is manufactured, an approved welding procedure specification (WPS) must be created. In this project, proposed welding procedure specification (WPS) (p-WPS) is created with four different welding current which are 60 A, 65 A, 70 A and 80 A.
