Abstract

The trend of hard disk drive is now moving towards smaller size with larger capacity. In order to sustain the continuing increase in data storage density, a more stringent TMR budget is imposed for servo design. Consequently, the high bandwith dual-stage actuator servo systems have been deevloped to improve the precision of read/write head positioning control.
