Abstract

Inverter fed induction drive systems are already well developed using many sophisticated approaches for device control, and covered up in most of electric markets. Several drives with different types of controllers are now available in the markets and industrial sectors. One of these approaches is to control the speed, position, starter and estrablished some times ago and proved to be simple, accurate with fast respond and economically attractive. This project uses the PLC theory and dealing with Induction operation using CX-PROGRAMMER by OMRON, and identify the properties for a logic operation of the switch devices used in switch mode inverter as well as general purpose three phase induction motor. The project is for hardware programming to achieve the control scheme from the ladder logic and implentation the control onto the motor, just to obtain a simple outcome result of speed, position and fast brake control for the induction drive.
