Title
The effect of welding parameters on weld bead geometries and mechanical properties of a high tensile steel pipe material
This research is to study the effect of welding parameters on the weld bead geometries and mechanical properties of ASTM A106 Grade B pipe by varying the welding currents using GTAW process. The pipe was welded using filler wire ER70S-G. By varying the welding parameters such as welding currents, welding travel speed and a constant welding voltage, the heat input of each welding pass can be calculated.
