Abstract

Through the implemention of Maximum Point Tracking (MPPT) in a Photovoltaic (PV) system, it enables the maximum operating points of a PV panel to be controlled and located accurately from time to time even under changing environmental conditions, thus extracting the maximum output power to any given load. This research paper focuses on the design and simulations of the microcontroller-based Incremental Conductance (IncCond) algorithm to control the output signals from the PV panel to achieve the maximum output power and the evaluations of the efficiency of the designated system.
