Nowadays, renewable energy has become one of the best alternatives of power generation in terms of sustainabilitiy. In Malaysia with wide availability of biomass sources particularly from natural forest and agriculture sector, biomass power generation has started to emerge. However, issues in poor estimation of power capacity for the resources available and decision on fuel type have been identified.
