Title
Simulation and Implementation of Three Phase Converter
This project involved the simulation and implementation of three-phase converter to convert a three-phase AC source into a constant DC output. A three-phase is preferred over a single -phase converter is that the three-phase converter generates a less harmonic distortion, constant output compare with the single-phase converter. The natural response of the three-phase converter is being researched and simulated via PSIM. A new method is developed to determine the filter capacitance and induntance at the filtering side. A power factor correction method is proposed and finally, the project concluded with the implemtantation of the converter.
