In today's world, everything has become very competitive. It applies to automation industries too. Big companies spend millions to develop best tools to survive in this automation industry. A few new inventions have given a new life for the automation industries indeed. Relay logics was replaced by Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). This project involves the operation of PLC, direct torque control (DTC) and ABB ACS800 speed drive. Two speed drives, OMRON PLC, OMRON RTD E52-Pt100 temperature sensor and two induction motor were used to achieve the outcome of this project. the speeds of two motors are controlled by a temperature sensor. Any changes in the rtemperature will change the motors speeds in different modes.
