Security

Professional, Full Time (Contract)

Location:  Miri, Sarawak

Security Guards are responsible to ensure the overall security and safety of students and staff of the University.

Our security guards are entitled to annual leave, sick leave, group hospitalization and accident insurance, outpatient medical treatment which includes their spouse and dependent children, EPF, EIS and SOCSO contribution.

Those having ex-military or auxiliary police background are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees, students and visitors;
• Monitoring and identifying potential risks of security and safety situations within the university properties and grounds;
• Patrolling the university and student housing premises;
• Responding appropriately to alarms, incidents and emergencies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum MCE/SPM.
• Able to communicate reasonably well in English.
• Physically fit.
• Willingness and ability to work to a pre-scheduled roster, 6 days a week.

 Desirable:

• Prior working experience and  knowledge of security procedures.
• Ex-military or auxiliary police background is an added advantage.
• Certificate in First Aid.
• Computer Literate.
