Office of Chief Operating Officer

Your new role

This position provides operational and administrative support to the Assistant Manager, Health and Safety, in implementing campus health and safety initiatives, and supports the effective implementation of the corporate safety plan and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports the implementation of safety plans, procedures, and training initiatives developed by the Safety Office.
• Assists in conducting workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and tracking corrective actions.
• Supports contractor safety monitoring and compliance activities, maintains and monitors first aid supplies and inspection records, and ensures compliance with critical safety processes such as Permit to Work, heavy lifting, and confined space entry.
• Assists in evaluating contractor HSE performance and supports safety assurance activities at the campus, and supports safety communication activities, including briefings, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A recognized degree or diploma, or higher qualification in the field of Health, Safety and Environment, or a related field.
• Preferably 1 - 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated good interpersonal and communication skills with people at all levels.
• Able to perform assigned duties independently with minimum supervision.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Desirable

• Knowledge of ISO 45001 is an added advantage.
